Successful CSYO Audition!

It’s time to brag about our students again! Lila W. worked diligently towards several goals over the past 6 months. All summer, she practiced for the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra audition. Last year, Lila was in the back of the 2nd violins in CSYO, and her goal was to improve her chair. She worked on excerpts from Mozart, Brahms, Elgar and Tchaikovsky, and chose Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3 for her solo piece. She and her teacher did such a great job preparing that Lila earned a seat in the 1st violin section on the 4th stand. Congratulations!

Last week, Lila did a beautiful job performing Mozart Violin Sonata k304 at the Cincinnati Strings Fall Recital! In addition to practicing her Sonata, she worked on Hrimaly for scales, Kayser for Etudes and various violin concertos. Lila’s passion and enthusiasm for violin, along with all her hard work has allowed her to be so successful with her violin playing. She studies with Dr. Yein Jin in Cincinnati, OH.
